Thanks Nikki! Technically this is a simple cake to make and would be a great choice for a first go at fondant. Although, remembering my first fondant cake, it would probably be better to choose something with a lot of flowers or a busy pattern. It takes a lot of practice to cover the cake without any rips, tears, holes, "elephant skin", puckering, etc. It's nice to put a flower or embellishment on top of the flaws! LOL!
